I have always been captivated by the power of a story. From the book that I just can’t put down to the narratives shared within the walls of my therapy office, stories have always held a special place in my heart. I believe in the profound impact that stories have on our lives, shaping our identities, and influencing our perspectives.

My own story began in Georgia, and I spent my childhood in both Atlanta and Houston. From there I went to Texas A&M University, where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Psychology. Following graduation, I moved to Dallas and enjoyed several years in Commercial Real Estate. During this time I experienced the power of therapy in my own life, and began to dream of becoming a counselor myself. Motivated by a love for God and a desire to help facilitate healing in others’ lives, I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Today, as a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training in EMDR therapy through EMDRIA, I absolutely love helping individuals process and navigate the complexities of their own stories and find healing along the way.

I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic connection as a key to deep healing. I draw from several therapeutic models, including EMDR, CBT and IFS, to create custom treatment plans that fit each client’s unique therapy needs.
