EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy provides a supportive and structured way to heal from painful memories and beliefs. Through this process, clients are gently guided to briefly revisit their distressing memories while experiencing bilateral stimulation, typically using eye movements or tappers. The method aims to ease emotional distress, soothe uncomfortable physical sensations, and shift negative beliefs that may have taken root after traumatic or difficult experiences.

While EMDR is known for its ability to help heal from trauma, whether it's a single event or a chronic experience, it’s also helpful for working through issues like anxiety, OCD, fears, low self-esteem, prolonged grief, and unwanted behavior patterns. Additionally, EMDR can boost your resilience, helping you tap into your own inner resources for comfort, strength, and hope.
